The TRD Pro trim introduces an available "snorkel" high-mounted air intake for maximum performance and efficiency and this trim level features a lot of off-road-ready equipment such as Active Traction Control and TRD-tuned off-road suspension. However, even if you choose another trim of the Tacoma, you will find a lot of great traction and off-roading capabilities thanks to available four-wheel drive and Automatic Limited-Slip Differential.

However, this innovative technology does not end in the realm of safety, it continues well into the pickup itself with its available conveniences and entertainment features. Other trim levels take this Entune™ system and add on an Integrated navigation system as well as HD Radio™, SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, Predictive Traffic and Doppler Weather Overlay, and a six-speaker JBL® sound system with a subwoofer.
